Nadine was politically engaged in various issues and campaigns during her undergraduate years at the University of Ottawa where she graduated with an Honours degree in Environmental Studies.

Her main focus over the past five years has been environmental justice and the relationship between poverty and the environment, consequently spurring her involvement with different advocacy groups and NGOs that have been pushing for changes in water management and policy in developing countries.

Nadine will be pursuing her M.A. in Geography at the University of Saskatchewan in September 2010.

Her favorite technology is the drip kit, but has a big soft spot for the treadle pump.
